weak slingshot March 20, 2010 Nancy (NJ) I have pesky squirrels so I got this slingshot to chase them. The squirrels were not impressed. I did not use pellets as they were too expensive for my beginner status, yet the lack of rubberband strength means that the ammo I use does not go all that far. Also, the band broke after a very short time. I would not recommend this product

I purchased 4 of these slingshots for my grandsons for christmas. They are assembled "back-wards" and cannot be shot at all. When you hold the apparatus properly, the sling portion is pointing in the wrong direction. Essentially, if it even worked, you would literally shoot your eye out. As you hold the handle, the rubber band should point in direction away from you, and this one points towards you. They have not even played with them and it was a TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY!!!

This is a great slingshot. I was searching for one, and when I came across this one, it had a great price. It came with a container that stored all the ammo and it had a spring dispenser. It came with some metal ammo that fit just right into the dispenser. The slingshot was powerful. I put a bunch of soda cans in a line and shot them down one by one, and it did a lot of damage using the metal ammo. However, you get about 35 hours of shooting time until the band wears out and snaps like mine did. Overall, this slingshot is powerful and definitely worth buying!

I'm glad I read the reviews! November 1, 2009 A. Skala (Chesterfield VA) 1 out of 4 found this review helpful
We were having a difficult time figuring out how to this particular sling shot, until we read a review that told us to bend the arm, with a little bit of force, backwards. Now that makes sense. My daughter uses it a lot. And it's a nice sling shot for the price.
