rubbish August 25, 2010 swishy a never seen such a peice of junk when i opened the box the bow was cracked that was bad enough i shot an arrow and the string broke the most useless bow in the world the bow went to bits when the string snaped
30# Bow Review August 23, 2010 ken The bow is exactly what I wanted for a reasonable price. One of the plastic end bow-string fittings was loose on arrival but I used liquid nail to reattach it. Works fine for a beginners bow.........regards, ken
It feels and sounds like it's going to break. The crack is not reassuring. March 15, 2010 Happy Face (Los Angeles, CA United States) 7 out of 8 found this review helpful
Check out the photos of the bow I bought through Amazon which I received today.
The last thing you want to hear when you draw back your bow string is: you know when you have a whole pack of spaghetti noodles and you sometimes break it in half to fit in the pot better? It's the sound of a bunch of little sticks breaking fast one after another. That's pretty close to how my bow sounded. I unstrung it, and found a crack. Then I restrung it to see if the crack looked any worse under tension. And a big chip flaked off the bow!
I can't believe it.
The other reviews all looked okay so I had high expectations but this bow was junk right out of the box. Highly disappointing.
I'm going to return the bow and then seek out a brick and mortar archery store. For less than $100 I wasn't expecting world-class equipment, but I should have received a simple, basic, usable bow.
Now I have to go through all the hassle of returning this thing.
Don't buy this!
Great Bow for money but needs clearer instructions December 25, 2009 Stephen W. Smith 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
It looks great, and is fantastic value for the price, but for anyone new toarchery this type of bow is couner-intuitive and needs to be bent in the opposite direction before stringing to get extra tension. My teenage boys were pretty fed up with the string keep coming off until an archery friend showed us.
So I'd rate the bow as 5 Stars, but then knock 1 star off for unclear instructions !
A recurve bow just like when I was a kid September 5, 2009 Mazonman (USA) 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
My new Titan 60 inch recurve 30# fiberglass bow functions as advertised. I am grateful to WTA for providing prompt service when we had questions. It's about time we had a choice when buying a basic bow to learn archery. Next; a compound bow...
